A REIMAGINED EXPERIENCE

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic our services have been modified to protect the health and safety of our guests, staff, and community. While we’ve had to make a few changes to keep everyone safe, we remain committed to providing you with an exceptionally memorable and relaxing stay!

  • We are accepting reservations with care; if you may have been exposed to anyone that is sick, are feeling unwell or have travelled outside of the province in the last 14 days, please give us a call to reschedule your visit. We are happy to adjust our cancellation policy to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and would love to welcome you for a stay when you are back to feeling 100%.

  • We have implemented a no-contact check-in and check-out process that is easy, convenient, and safe. Should you require any assistance at all, we are a quick text message or phone call away! As part of our check-in process, all guests will be subject to our COVID-19 screening procedure, which consists of filling out a quick online survey.

  • Mid-stay housekeeping service has been discontinued at this time to prevent unnecessary interaction between our guests and staff. Your room will be well stocked with extra towels and other amenities for the duration of your stay. For any top-ups, just send us a text through our mobile concierge service!

  • Our Picnic Basket and Breakfast in Bed services are currently unavailable; however each of our rooms feature Nespresso coffee/espresso machines and premium tea to help you start your day, as well as a bar fridge for your use. Elora hosts many lovely restaurants that feature delicious fare from breakfast through to late night tapas, including fantastic take away options (including breakfast and picnic offerings!) - ask us for a recommendation, or we are more than happy to help you secure a reservation at the place that tempts you the most!

  • Some in-room amenities and add-ons may be modified or temporarily unavailable to ensure we continue to provide the highest level of quality and safety. We thank you for your patience and understanding!

SOCIAL DISTANCING

We require all guests and staff to practice physical distancing by staying at least six feet away from others at all times, in accordance with provincial and local health regulations.

CLEANING & SANITIZATION

The continued health and well-being of our guests is of utmost importance to us. At Ayrshire House, we always hold ourselves to the highest cleaning standards. For your safety, we have added cleaning and sanitation procedures that comply with Public Health Agency of Canada, Public Health Ontario and those recommended by accommodation industry experts so that you can feel as confident and relaxed as you should any time that you embark on a special getaway!

  • Guest rooms, including all linens/duvets/blankets as well as all surfaces, upholstery, fixtures and room keys are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized and disinfected between every stay. All drinkware and dishes are removed and replaced between guest visits. We pay special attention to all of the the small things that can sometimes be overlooked, such as room keys, remotes, light switches, handles, knobs, thermostats, etc., so you can be sure that we are doing everything possible to mitigate the risk of contracting or spreading illness.

  • Along with our regular meticulous cleaning routine, each suite is methodically sprayed using an Electrostatic Disinfectant Sprayer system to ensure that all surfaces, both hard and soft, are disinfected.

  • Our air exchange ventilation system delivers a continuous flow of fresh air into all common areas and guest rooms. The air in each of our guest rooms is replaced every 20 minutes bringing in fresh air from outside.

  • Enhanced public area cleaning is in effect. High touch areas such as railings, doorknobs and counters are sanitized regularly.

  • Masks and gloves are being worn by all employees when cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms and common spaces. Cleaning products are of the highest quality and meet and exceed the guidelines provided by Public Health.

  • All staff areas are cleaned and disinfected several times a day (kitchen, laundry room, storage rooms), and continual sanitation of staff workspaces (computers, housekeeping carts, vacuums, etc.) is enforced.

Providing a safe and clean environment is always a priority at The Ayrshire House and even more so as we navigate through these uncertain times together. We continue to adjust and adapt as new guidelines become available and we thank you for your understanding!
